This course is for anyone that may come across asbestos in their day to day work (such as general maintenance staff, electricians, plumbers, gas fitters, painters, decorators, joiners, plasterers, demolition workers and construction staff) and therefore needs to be aware of the practical steps they can take to avoid contact with it.
The Independent Asbestos Training Providers (IATP) approves this course. IATP are a trade association who exist to set standards in asbestos training and ensures that its members meet those standards; they liaise closely with the HSE to promote good practice and maintain these standards.
Course Fees
Including tuition, course materials, assessment and certification and refreshments, the IATP Asbestos Awareness Training costs £30 exc. VAT. Costs vary according to the number of candidates enrolling and the location of course delivery.
